JRN 200 Web Update #2

A roommate made a superior sandwich for another roommate Wednesday afternoon.  Chelsy Coil made her roommate, Molly Mason, an egg sandwich when Mason returned from class on Wednesday in an attempt to beat her roommate at her own game.
Mason was hungry and tired from attending practice before her three-hour class, so Coil decided to treat her roommate by fixing her one of Mason's favorite dishes, the egg sandwich.
She cooked an egg over-easy while an english muffin toasted until it was golden brown.
She flipped the egg, without breaking the yolk. This instantly gave the sandwich amazing potential because it is very easy to break the yolk.
If the yolk breaks it brings down the quality of the sandwich dramatically.
She chose to make this a Mexican- flavored dish when she placed sliced tomato, avocado, and cheese on the muffin, along with the egg, and folded it in half, forming a sandwich.
Mason tried to grab the sandwich anxiously because she believed Coil to be done, but Coil surprised Mason by topping it off with a large quantity of mango salsa.
This meant that Mason had been beaten.  Salsa was always a condiment for Mason and her egg sandwiches, but the fact it was mango salsa through Mason over the edge.
She had been defeated in her egg-sandwich-making abilities.  The only way Mason can redeem herself is to raise the bar above mango salsa.  Mason has accepted the challenge.

JRN 200 Web Update #1

A roommate plans to make another roommate a sandwich when they return from class on Wednesday afternoon.  Chelsy Coil intends to make an egg sandwich for her roommate, Molly Mason, when both girls get back to their apartment around noon on Wednesday, after attending class.
Mason is known for making restaurant- quality egg sandwiches, many consider it to be her specialty, but Coil wishes to face the challenge of making a better sandwich than Mason.  She plans to start by making an egg, over easy, and toasting an english muffin to perfection.
She has not announced what other ingredients she plans to put on the muffin, but she is thinking along the lines of something ethnic.  She could take this in several directions.
She could make it a Greek egg sandwich equipped with feta cheese, tomato, and green peppers.  She could make it a Mexican-flavored by putting hot sauce (preferably Franks Red Hot), salsa, and nacho cheese on it.  She could even put an American spin on it by frying bacon or sausage and topping it off with some cheddar cheese.
The options on endless, but the only important question that remains is..will it be better than a classic "Molly Mason Egg Sandwich"?
